Privacy Policy
Light Puzzle · Last updated: September 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Light Puzzle (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile game. We designed the App to keep personal data collection minimal. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Light Puzzle is a single-player puzzle game in which you guide a beam of light through mazes, collect diamonds, and reach the goal.
2. Information we store on your device
The App saves progress locally on your device using on-device preferences (for example SharedPreferences / equivalent platform storage). This may include:
- Whether you have completed the first-open controls tutorial
- Which levels you have finished
- Related unlock / progress state needed to continue playing
This information stays on your device unless you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. We do not use this local progress data to identify you across other apps or websites.
3. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
Firebase Analytics (Google) may be used to understand how the App is used and to improve gameplay, stability, and features.
Depending on platform settings and your device permissions, Analytics may collect:
- App events (for example app opens, level start / complete / fail, tutorial completion)
- Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language)
- Approximate usage metrics (session length, engagement)
- An analytics instance identifier generated for the App install
Firebase Analytics is provided by Google. Google may process analytics data according to its own policies. Learn more:
We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise GPS location through Firebase Analytics for Light Puzzle. We do not sell your personal information.
On Apple platforms, where required, we will request tracking permission before accessing data used for cross-app tracking. You can also limit analytics via your device settings (for example Reset Advertising Identifier / Limit Ad Tracking, or platform analytics controls where available).
4. What we do not do
- We do not require an account to play
- We do not sell personal information
- We do not use your gameplay progress to serve third-party behavioral ads inside the App (unless clearly disclosed in a future update of this policy)
- We do not ask for contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location for core gameplay
5. Children
The App is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of selling it or for targeted advertising. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
6. Data retention
- On-device progress remains until you clear App data or uninstall.
- Firebase Analytics data is retained according to your Firebase / Google Analytics settings and Google’s retention practices.
7. Your choices
- Stop local storage of progress by clearing App storage or uninstalling the App
- Control platform advertising / tracking settings on your device
- Contact us to ask questions about this policy
8. International processing
If Firebase Analytics is enabled, Google may process analytics data on servers in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you understand that analytics data may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features (including further Firebase products) or when legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
10. App Store / Play Console disclosures
For Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data safety forms, you may classify data as including approximately:
- Product Interaction — gameplay / level events (Analytics)
- Device ID / App Instance ID — analytics identifiers (Analytics)
- Diagnostics / Usage Data — crashes or performance if you later enable Crashlytics or similar Firebase products (update this policy if you do)
Local level progress stored only on device is generally not “collected” by the developer unless it is transmitted off device.
